Register now to attend Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD) - Efficiently and effectively providing this screening

Description

All newborns in North Carolina are required to be screened with pulse oximetry to identify cases of critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) and results of this screening must be reported to the state health department.

*Why is this required?
*How is the screening done?
*What should I do if the screening is abnormal?
*How do I know if I am doing a good job and it makes a difference?

These questions and others will be addressed in a webinar hosted by PQCNC beginning September 15, 2015, with other webinars occurring on October 13, 2015, and November 10, 2015. These webinars were developed for any person involved in the care of newborns, including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and others. The webinars will be practical and address issues necessary to efficiently and effectively provide this required service.
