The focus for teams this month was on Breastfeeding Support. PQCNC provided tools, resources, and presentations from experts on what is breastfeeding support, who can provide it, training needed, staffing guidelines and how to make the case to administration. With the recent changes to the Affordable Care Act we also had a presentation on insurance coverage for electric pumps. PQCNC had the opportunity to visit one hospital team this month to learn first hand about the work they are doing and bring their insights back to the collaborative.
