The NAS Expert team determined the needed baseline data in November to be submitted prior to the beginning of the initiative.  Baseline data will include unit level data, administrative level data and patient level data. This data will allow us to determine where we are and how we achieve standardization across NC with the care of NAS infants and families.  Teams now will focus their work on gathering and submitting this baseline data.  A total of 31 teams from across NC and Illinois will take part in the initiative and begin their work in January. Thanks to all the members of the expert team for their willingness to work so diligently over the summer and fall to develop an exciting initiative.
