Stephen Patrick to speak at PQCNC 2104 Annual Meeting

Stephen Patrick, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Vanderbilt University in the Division of Neonatology. Dr. Patrick is focused on improving public health systems to optimize maternal and child health. He is a health services researcher with interest in Medicaid policy, eliminating hospital acquired infections, understanding causes of maternal illicit drug use and improving the quality of care delivered to drug-exposed newborns. He is actively engaged in an international quality improvement effort through the Vermont Oxford Network, which aims to improve care delivered to opiate-affected newborns and their families. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, Florida State University College of Medicine, Harvard School of Public Health, and University of Michigan and is a former Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar.
