Ben Saypol, PhD, is the Director of Theater Delta. He has developed Interactive Theater projects with Medical professionals, the US Military, the World Bank, and numerous colleges and universities around the United States. Previous to Theater Delta he established Interactive Theater programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Loyola University New Orleans, and served as Assistant Director for the one at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Has a PhD in Theatre from The University of Colorado at Boulder, and he has studied Interactive Theater, Theatre of the Oppressed, and other community based theater techniques with Augusto Boal, Julian Boal, Michael Rohd, and others. Ben has served as the Chair of the Interactive Theatre Subcommittee for the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. Learn more about Dr. Saypol.
