Hot off the presses are two statements/policy guidelines from ACOG / SMFM / AWHONN -
1) Levels of Maternal Care - a joint description by ACOG/SMFM (and others) about maternal levels of care which will greatly impact efforts for regionalization
2) Severe Maternal Morbidity: Clarification of the New Joint Commission Sentinel Event Policy - a joint statement by ACOG/SMFM/TJC/AWHONN clarifying the use of Joint Commission sentinel event monitoring for severe maternal morbidity.
