This webinar should provide healthcare professionals with an expanded knowledge base in relation to reducing primary cesareans and identify management approaches, and:
• Describe medical and social factors that contribute to the high cesarean rate in the US
• Discuss current data on the "normal" progression of labor
• Describe evidence-based management approaches to preventing the first cesarean
• Describe how hospital policies, practitioner schedules, financial issues, medical legal concerns, and other factors all influence the management of labor
