The ASNS initiative is rapidly coming to a close! The final Learning Session for the initiative will be held in March and teams will come together for a final data review and to celebrate their accomplishments. By participating in the ASNS initiative, PQITs have been able to avoid unnecessary lab work for infants, decrease antibiotic usage, decrease RN resources with less IV placements and lab draws, reduce separation of mother and infant and decrease use of pharmacy resources. PQITs are continuing to sustain the progress they have been able to make during the ASNS initiative and a few are preparing to present their work at the March Learning Session.
