Purpose/Goal:

The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to have an understanding of the resuts and implications of the ARRIVE trial.

Objectives:

  • Discuss the literature regarding elective induction of labor and pregnancy outcomes
  • Discuss the results of the ARRIVE trial
  • Discuss implementation issues regarding elective labor induction

Evaluations/Certificates:

Evaluation and post-test provided immediately following the webinar (internet browser must remain open).  Certificates provided via email approximately 1-2 weeks following the live presentation. 

1.0 Contact Hour:

This activity has been submitted to the Northeast Multistate Division for approval to award contact hours.  The Northeast Multistate Division is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
