PQCNC is proud to announce new PQCNC core team leadership for maternal projects. Over the years we have realized the commitment this position requires, as well as the leadership needed to seize opportunities that are provided to improve care and to change culture. With that in mind, we are pleased to welcome Rick Temple to the PQCNC Core Team as our new lead for Maternal Initiatives.
Rick Temple is a family physician who completed an FM-OB fellowship in 2008. He retired from 23 years of service in the US Navy prior to coming to ECU Health in 2022. At ECU Health he splits his time between the Obstetrics and Family Medicine Departments. He is a proponent of team-based training and standardization in emergency response. He is part of the ALSO teaching team and has had the opportunity to teach at various community hospitals in eastern NC
