The web based tool is now ready for use in 29 North Carolina Newborn Critical Care Centers. While there are approximately 90 hospitals in our state with delivery services, these 29 centers, lead by neonatal medical and nursing specialists, provide care for infants born prematurely or critically ill. These 29 centers have unique challenges to provide family centered care and formally collect parent evaluation of readiness for discharge.
