Rowan Regional Medical Center’s Family Maternity Center has an experienced team of obstetricians, anesthesiologists, family medicine physicians, pediatricians, neonatal nurse practitioners, lactation consultants and nurses are all dedicated to providing a beautiful, healthy birth experience. The Center contains 34 private maternity suites include: 3 exam rooms, 2 operating rooms, 6 labor/delivery/recovery suites, and 19 postpartum suites, 6 with fetal monitoring technology. In addition to a healthy, comfortable birthing environment, the safety of moms and babies is a top priority. Each newborn is protected by a security bracelet, and the maternity center is closely monitored with security cameras. Family-centered maternity care means that rooming in with baby is always available, and that the newborn will be by the mother’s side as much as desired. Dedicated postpartum nurses will care for mom and baby, assisting with feeding and answering any questions you may have.
